Volunteer Opportunities
There are many volunteer opportunities available. Check out the complete listing found at left. Please note that all potential volunteers are required to take a mandatory training class. Those seeking to become counselors are required to complete further training as noted below. Volunteer Training Volunteer Orientations A mandatory three-hour class for all potential volunteers. Call Mary LeQuieu, Client Services Director, at 880-8373. Click here for Center addresses. Volunteer/Counselor training (nine weeks) Required 30-hour course for those volunteers working directly with clients, such as counselors and receptionists. $25 fee covers the cost of the materials. Post Abortion Counselor (PACE) Training (eight weeks) This class is for both men and women who wish to work with people suffering from the trauma of a pregnancy termination.
